Contagious Faith

So, sometime in 2018, I decided that I wanted a different life. I was tired of playing the victim with a knack for a deeply infectious sadness.

It was indeed tiring. I learnt the hard way that no one is attracted to a sad person. You know when people say happy girls are the prettiest, it’s so true!

Anyways, I digress.

In my first year in business school, they introduced us to several opportunities to explore diverse networks and experiences. Two experiences stood out for me. The foreign exchange with a partner GNAM school and the Masters in Advanced Management (MAM) at Yale University. I desired both and I put them up on my focus wall, praying, believing and acting towards it.

Let’s rewind a little to February 2017, I learnt that I have the power to create a future that I wanted, I wanted an MBA and my faith led me to apply to the Lagos Business School. Given that I had applied to other schools in the past few years, and GMAT kicked my butt, I decided I was going to go all out for this one.

I took the GMAT and scored above the cut-off mark, yass!

I got the admission in June, yass!!

Finally, I resumed in September, yass!!!

If you had seen me before, you no go know me again.

Fast forward to my focus wall, there is indeed something about the biblical practice of fixing your eyes on the prize. With my own resources, I knew I could not achieve this.

Yesterday I entered Europe for the first time in my life and I am here for the exchange. My new experiences will be detailed in future postings.

There is no way humanly possible that I could have done this myself and I return to give ALL the glory to God!
